Aptly titled, The Mastery of the Unseen shows the strides this power-trio have been making since their debut CDR in 2016 and the extremely promising Seance Part. I demo released later that year. Exhibiting the same sulfurous energy as the first works but now displaying a uniquely feral poise, the rich 'n' roiling blackened death Invocation unfurl across the two tracks of The Mastery of the Unseen evokes that classic South American diabolism whilst grounding it in a deeply occult aspect. Comparisons to close comrades Slaughtbbath and Atomicide and even Unaussprechlichen Kulten can be made, but the hysteria-unto-possession Invocation invoke points the way forward for further mastery. Offer fealty early and witness The Mastery of the Unseen...
There's no light, only pure hypnotic darkness...
"Invocation är i mitt tycke det bästa som Iron Bonehead ger ut närmsta framtiden – åtminstone att döma av de 50 procent som hittills finns att lyssna på från kommande två-låtar-EPn The Mastery of the Unseen."
- Bara Metal, 2018
"The way the songs are structured reflects this sense of ritualistic practice from its use of repetition to what familiar motifs and themes build up and reveal a grander picture. Both tracks begin using a strong tremolo pattern that establishes a particular melody that serves as a thematic keystone that the song will break apart and reform to achieve."
- Toilet ov Hell, 2018
"A great amount of South American underground metal influences can also be heard in t he bands musical style while the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them and the second track is long and epic in length. Invocation creates another recording that remains true to their ritualistic mixture of black and death metal, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Occultism, Spiritualism, Possessions and Witchcraft themes."

This is the most personally appealing piece of music I have run into in a long time - from the beautiful lyrics and art and the crushing, non pretentious gorgeous heavy music. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, crushing - are there are other words? Gorgeous, exquisite.... sock4never

Are we still saying, "This shit slaps."? If so, then this.
If not, this excrement wallops.
Fast, technical yet melodic, and with vocals from a subterranean demon - this album scratches that itch perfectly. Kudos. jumpkicktotheface
